Duplicate certificates of 86 employed teachers have been found in Nawada, Bihar. The department has also been left baffled by the actions of the teachers. During the scrutiny of the application forms for the competency test, it was revealed that people are working at many places in the name of these 86 teachers. There are more than eight thousand employed teachers in Nawada, out of which 6 thousand teachers had applied online for the competency test. The Education Department has given this information last Saturday. Now the matter has come to light.
Errors have been found during the scrutiny of applications. Teachers are working in many districts on the same roll number of TET, STET and BTET. That means many teachers are working in different districts on one roll number. The department has lost its senses. Now action can be taken against these 86 employed teachers after investigation.
It is said that all these 86 teachers are posted in different schools of the district. Online applications were invited for the competency test. In such a situation, teachers reinstated on BTET and CTET certificates are being directly matched with the software. Therefore, duplicate teachers are easily caught. This is the reason why during the investigation, duplicate certificates of 86 employed teachers have been found. Among the 86 teachers who have been caught, 15 each from Nardiganj and Pakribarawan of Nawada district, 9 from Nawada, 12 from Hisua, 10 from Rajauli, 9 from Warisaliganj, 3 from Kashichak, 3 from Kauakol, Akbarpur, Roh, Sirdala. And there are 2 teachers each from Narhat, one each from Meskaur and Govindpur.
